Vessel Piping
We offer maintenance of piping and a variety of installations with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and exotic materials. Also we specialise in gasket change out. Removing asbestos gaskets in a controlled environment and replace with asbestos-free gaskets along with testing and reporting of each flange set and gasket.
Machining
We use a network of external machining services for our machining requirements from shaft machining, line boring, valve reseating, portable quadrant milling.
Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and Welding Inspection
Comprehensive range of test equipment inclusive of x-ray, ultrasonic and electronic test apparatus as well as gas free testing. NATA approved inspection and test reports are produced for all plate work repairs, HMI specialise in heavy plate work superstructure hull repairs.
Marine Logistics
We cater to a vast array of companies, not only in Australia but from all over the Pacific, utilising facilities here at The Yard Brisbane. With our wide array of partners, we can offer tug and barge equipment, lashings; tow plans and survey, on time and on budget.
