This is the first time a wooden paddlewheeler is lifted out of the water instead of the traditional cradle winched up an incline. Harrap Constructions fabricated the lifting beams seen in these photo’s which are certified beams each to 70 ton.  Harrap Constructions was responsible for fabrication and also consulting with engineer to certify beams to the 70 ton rating per beam.
